tried this restaurant in Puerto Carmen, i agree with other reviews, food perfect, lasagne, tortellini,ravioli.
my wife had a pizza, was big and well done.this italian restaurant is very clean, nice and cheaper.

we tried the MAMMA Carla with my family and it was fabulous-
The place is romantic, service was good, food perfect.
we had dinner twice and we fun ourselves.
pasta was good rigatoni and lasagne, my wife took a seafood mixed with rice, and the children pizza.
the price was cheaper we paid 15 euro each and children 7, in fact in MammaCarla have a special menu for children.
A important thing is the fresh product,meat ball with sauce,and cotoletta, steak, good.
The Chef is italian, and if you like italian food it is the perfect place in Lanzarote.

We first tried this restaurant Mamma Carla for a light pizza lunch but returned twice for full dinner because of the quality of the food, the service and the relaxed setting.
This is an Italian restaurant and one thing of note for it is that it had a lot of locals in it everytime we were there. The food was excellent across all dishes we had. Even the pizza we had the first day was top class.
I would strongly recommend you try it, indeed as we did, for a pizza at least which won't set you back that much and I bet like us you will go back again and again.
we have a good time tasting italian fresh pasta tortellini and lasagne hand made, my wife took a pizza very big and well done, the dish were very full, we taste italian wine and limoncello, the price was cheap 20 euro for each.
Chef Gregorio and the waiters were very polite, sure we come back in Christmas

MAMMA CARLA : This restaurant is just down from the Biosfera centre towards the old harbour. You will be greeted like family from Chef Gregorio and Lorenzo on front of house, the restaurant has a lovely d?cor and atmosphere with lots of family photos back from the 1950's. This is a true Italian restaurant and only the best ingredients will do, they actually have their own supplies shipped from Italy to make sure you get that authentic taste and quality. I'm still working my way through the menu, the pizzas are light and crisp but full of flavour and the pasta is wonderful - you've got to try Mamma Carlas Rigatoni. Gregorio used to cook for celebrities such as Elton John and Princess Diana in London so make sure you go for a meal when you're in Lanzarote! Pizzas from E6, children's meals E3.5 pasta from E7. Best italian restaurant and cheap in Puerto del Carmen.
