The cycle will begin on Saturday, February 27 with "Night of the flamenco guitar, starring Antonio Rey, and end on March 16 with a concert by Oz Noy Trio feat Dave Weckl & James Genus
cycle Guitar Masters was born in 2005 in order to bring the public the different universes that gives this instrument of six strings, beginning with its most classical and through the potential merger of such contrary styles such as jazz world music. Therefore, particularly significant lectures which invited actors (in this case: Antonio Rey, Naxos Guitar Trio, Yamandú Costa and Oz Noy) offer to all interested in attending. 'Master' of different slopes have been involved in this cycle promoted by the Foundation Auditorium in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. So Cotsiolis Costas (who now repeats Naxos Guitar Trio), Gerardo Nunez, Ralph Towner and Manuel Barrueco, marked the first step in this journey that subsequently followed David Russell, Biréli Lagrène & Gipsy Project, Vicente Amigo, Jim Hall, Manolo Sanlucar Pat Martino, Tommy Emmanuel, the Duo Assad, José Manuel Cañizares and El Niño Josele.
In the last edition, the Auditorium was attended by Al Di Meola, Scott Henderson, the duo Kaltchev, Lionel Loueke and Ruben Levaniegos.
Nature of Israel, Oz Noy began his career at the age of 13 years, playing jazz, blues, pop and even rock music. On this occasion will be accompanied by Dave Weckl battery and electric bass James Genus.
